Scheduling

To schedule a session, please call 404.664.3110 or email me at alycewellons@hushmail.com. I will return emails and voicemails Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. If you leave a message on the weekend or a holiday, I will contact you the next business day. Voice mail and email are confidential. Please include your name and contact phone number. Please note: this phone number is intended for voice messages only. It does NOT receive texts.
Fees
Individual therapy: $195.00 per hour (50 minutes)
Couples therapy: $250.00 per hour (50 minutes)
I offer a limited number of appointments on a sliding scale basis, including two pro-bono slots. I also offer a reduced fee military slot for an individual or a couple.
Payment may be made via cash, check Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Apple Pay. Payment can also be made with your FSA debit card.
Cancellations + Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know as soon as possible, as that session slot could be utilized by another client. Please note that 24-hour advance cancellation or rescheduling of appointments is required in order to avoid being billed for the session. If you cancel or reschedule an appointment within the 24-hour time frame or no-show for an appointment, you will be charged your full session fee.
Emergencies
I understand that emergencies arise. Since I’m an independent psychotherapist in private practice, I’m not able to provide emergency coverage for clients on an “on call” basis. If an urgent mental health issue emerges, I recommend that you call Georgia Crisis & Access line (1-800-715-4225), which is staffed 24 hours per day every day of the week with counselors. If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, please call 911 or go to your local emergency hospital.
Insurance
It is your responsibility to pay for each session in full at the time of service.
I am not currently listed as a mental health provider on provider lists or panels, however my services are covered under many out-of-network insurance plans. I am happy to provide you with receipts which may be used to request reimbursement from your insurance company, and will provide you with year-end documentation to assist you in your annual tax preparation.
